There are three ways of using WiFi

Without any wires, you are connected to your company's network, so you can read your e-mails or check out your intranet while sitting in a meeting room or the staff restaurant.

Read your e-mails or visit a website from your garden or living room. Connect a WiFi terminal to your ADSL modem for wireless connection to the Internet.
 
Several devices can be connected to your WiFi terminal: laptop, printer, games console, etc.
